This morning I was laying in bed wondering what today may hold for me. I thought about how warm and cozy those covers felt. It was difficult thinking about having to get up and take the girls to school. Lyndi was laying in bed and hadnt made a peep. I thought...one more day. I decided to thank the Lord for today. So I prayed. I have found a great peace praying. The weight of the world sort of fades. I dont worry about work, bills or anything else. Just peace. I thanked the Lord for all of the MANY blessings he has given me. I prayed for guidance. Then I got up to start my day! Wow! What a refreshing way to start my day!
Maybe its time for some hot tea!

- I am 40-ish as a friend of mine calls us. 42 to be exact. I have a teenage daughter (eek), an 8 year old daughter and a stepson in his late 20's. I am married to a terribly quiet man that only speaks when he has something to say. Otherwise, no small talk.We live in an itsy bitsy, teeny weenie little town in Georgia. I love small town living. I am a nurse and have been for 10 years now. I love caring for others. Sometimes "others" don't care to be cared for...but I try to love on them anyway.
